We stay very comfortably on a stunning four-star Parador 1500 meters above sea level in the middle of Gran Canaria's volcanic landscape.

In Spain there are 92 Paradors and the first opened in 1928. Each Parador is unique and always has at least 4 star standard. It is often housed in a spectacular building, perhaps a castle, castle or monastery. In Gran Canaria, it is designed by the renowned artist Nestor Martin and is situated in a mountain pass with fantastic views to the west towards Spain's highest mountain. The spectacular peak of Teide in Tenerife.

Directly adjacent to the hotel are several really good hiking trails. Here we have a wonderful view from every room, a wonderful gourmet restaurant that we can enjoy after the hiking days and not to forget a lovely spa area where the weariest body can become like new again.
