Hiking in Gran Canaria
COVID 19
We do not know how the winter season 2020-2021 will fould out. We will update with new info when we have.
We hope to be able to start the hiking season on October the 21th with hiking three days a week. Monday, Wednesday and Fridays.
In the current situation, we will offer at least one hike a week where those who prefer to avoid transport together with others, have the opportunity to get to the starting point of the hike themselves. If you would rather have transport, we also offer it, just as usual.
Hiking outdoors is probably one of the safest ways to avoid disease of all. On our hikes we keep a natural distance (MInimum 1,5 meter) while we enjoy beautiful landscapes out in the fresh air.
In Spain, there is no requirement for mouth protection in connection with sports where hiking is included, so if you want to wear face mask, it is voluntary. During joint bus transport, there is a requirement for a face mask as protection.
According to our new schedule, it is the Friday hike, up to El Arco Acoronadero, which you can get to yourself if you whish.
If this turns out to be a appreciated, we will also offer this for the other hiking days as well. To cope with the logistics, those hikes are turned into round tours instead of, as has been the case before, being dropped off at one place and picked up at another.
Hope to see you in the mountains!
